Just got confirmation that CRINKLES will indeed be supporting SLEIGH BELLS when they come through Burlington to close out their East Coast run just prior to COACHELLA.
Really into the CRINK jamz and it’s been forever since they played here in Burlington.
In the past few years they have supported some top notch folks here in town such as Ramona Cordova, Death Vessel + Mount Eerie as well as having 7 Days select their EP as a top 10 record in 2008.
From what I’m told it’ll be a bit heavier than last we heard!

CRINKLES
Inspired by the recent preponderance of low-fi and tape recordings, Crinkles folds the warm tonality of antique and acoustic instruments together with a spacey spectrum of electronic beats.
In 2009, CRINKLES founded a record label, HEAVYPET, and released a limited edition 10″ vinyl pressing of the single “Nightlife”.
At present, Crinkles calls both Brooklyn and Burlington home; they convene virtually in cyberspace and in physical form in a Crown Heights, Brooklyn basement, where they continue to record woodsy, nu-Americana and electronic songs about future nostalgia. They maintain a mysterious frame of reference and are interested in dusty spaces and latent Catholicism.
