So, I just realized that Vandaveer (also known as Mark Charles Heidenger) is the former Bassist for Super cool band from DC, These United States. Vandaveer is a bit less raucus and more folky than TUS, but the craftsmenship of song is there and the female vocal accompanment adds a certain depth to the songs as well.

The more I listen to them and watch the videos, the more I look forward to seeing them on Thursday.
