Mike studies violin at the Art Center Music School with composer/violinist David Litven as well as well as operating Entropy Stereo Recordings, a free improvisation music label.
For those interested and unable to attend tonight, Mike Khoury will also be at Middlebury College , tomorrow, January 19,2009 for a Lecture/Demonstration with Leyya Tawil ( Artist-In-Residence in Dance at Middlebury ).

Kareem is a bassist, guitarist, improviser, composer, arranger, and (aspiring) laptop musician.He spent Fall 1999- Summer 2006 in Atlanta, getting his PhD in Philosophy at Emory, and making music with The Unexplained Explainers, dp3, and King Bomba. He is currently an assistant professor of philosophy at Middlebury College, as well as an organizer for the Middlebury Open Improv, a monthly event in which staff, students, and faculty of Middlebury College, as well as Vermonters not affiliated with the College, convene to make spontaneous music.

Mario is Sculptor, Percussionist, Improviser, & Composer from Bogota, Colombia. He plays a wide array of percussion, anything from a standard drumset, traditional Latin American percussion, samplers, or miscellaneous found objects. His musical styles integrate Latin folk rhythms and the avant garde, with hints of rock and jazz. He also composes and improvises.
